Description
Genuine UK Military, PLCE Issue Medic’s Bergen
Similar to the Infantry pattern but with additional role specific features
Large flat compartment on front for medical supplies, with 2 way zip opening on 3 sides.
This compartment measures 60x 38 x 10cm
Fittings for detachable instrument / organiser panel (included as shown, exact design may vary)
Velcro type loop lining on one side, to fit compatible accessories (none included)
Other side has various loops for kit retention and organisation
Large lid to accommodate front panel compartment, internal and external zip pockets
Fold down Red Cross Panel on bergen front, this panel has a DPM back and can be covered as required
Rear has roll out Air Marker Panel in fluorescent pink / red, this covers the lid as shown
This panel is DPM backed and can be rolled down to cover the shoulder and waist straps when required
Panel can be rolled up the DPM side out for correct tactical use, tape ties to keep the panel stowed
Standard bergen features include; internal aluminium frame, zipped top box pocket, internal lid pocket
Single compartment in main body with DPM snow/sand hood for weather proof extension to main compartment
Padded and shaped shoulder straps with 2 way adjustment, padded back with stitched venting channels, padded hip belt
Zips to fit compatible PLCE items, including side pockets or Medic pouch (not included)
EU or UK made to MoD specifications in DPM IRR materials by the MoD contractor
Example label reads: ‘Rucksack Medical DPM IRR 8465-99-869-4764 1999 ST1A/1344’
Single size, unlike Infantry bergens these are not produced in heights, comparable to the long back model.
Condition is used, various signs of use and wear, may be dusty and marked from field use, no damage or repairs, may have stores / ID marks in paint or ink
