Canvas chest webbing rig for FN FAL magazines

Faithful modern production of the Rhodesian private purchase chest rig originally made by Fereday & Sons

First made by converting captured ‘Ch-Com’ AK chest rigs, the originals were popular with Sealous Scouts and Rhodesian Light Infantry including RLI ‘Fire Force’ teams as a supplement to traditional belt order webbing

Simple canvas construction with press stud closures

Shoulder and waist straps all adjust on double D rings, small to size we do not recommend this item for larger users

Very simple design, just 4 pockets, each taking 2 x 20 round 7.62mm FN FAL, SLR or G3 magazine

Single press stud closure on each pocket

Small loop of strapping at each side, purpose unknown

No markings, provenance of this example is unknown, and it isn’t one of the originals which now sell for £100’s when they appear on the market.

Sand / khaki cotton canvas in used condition, no damage or repairs, no user or maker’s marks.
