Description
Issued as a face veil to disguise the distinctive head and shoulders silhouette. But often seen worn as a scarf before shemaghs gained popularity, especially favoured by Airborne units.
These enjoyed a resurgence in popularity as a helmet net for Afghanistan. A green scrim over the desert camouflage cover reduced the visibility of a helmet under bright moonlight.
In use since World War II and still relevant.
Numerous uses including screening, camming weapons and optics, part of a Ghillie suit and the intended personal camouflage.
We’ve seen these shredded with added garnish to provide prepared cam for belt kit or helmet. Measures approximately 100 x 100cm
A personal cam essential
Ex UK military stock, without packaging
Various views shown , single OG net supplied, as shown folded in the foreground of some of these images. Helmets and bands shown for illustration only, none of these are included
