UK sourced shelter sheet ‘basha’ in UK temperate DPM

Such shelter sheets are also referred to as hootchie, tarp, bivvy / bivi or basher, derived from ‘basha’ the Malay term for shelter

Introduced to us by one of our ex UKSF customers, he refers to this design as ’the super basha’. Extensively tried & tested by him in the jungle, this field proven shelter comes highly recommended

Larger size than the standard UK issue item, yet also lighter in weight*

Soft ripstop pattern PU coated waterproofed Nylon

Fully taped seamed hems for maximum weather protection

Total of 16 webbing tape suspension points for maximum versatility, all are reinforced

Suspension points are reinforced to reduce guttering.

Measures 2m x 3m open, folds to 28 x 12 x 8.5cm

Supplied complete with draw cord stuff sack, whole package weighs less than 700 grammes

Unbranded, ‘sterile’ item without labels or markings of any kind

If folded correctly this basha will fit inside a PLCE utility pouch

*UK issue shelter sheet weighs almost 1kg and measures 2.2 x 2.5m, this model is 700g and measures 2 x 3m
