Description
Genuine British army PLCE issue DPM Infantry pattern short back bergen complete with side pouches and modifications
Ex UKSF Reserve item from 21 SAS
Standard issue short back bergen with the following jungle & OP related tailored modifications:
3x utility pouch with adjustable strap & buckle closures
Generous basha stash pouch, twin strap & buckle box lid over a zip closure
Please note these additional pouches have been fitted over the ladder strapping, lower portion of this strapping is no longer accessible
Superior shoulder straps, improved weight distribution for increased user comfort and reduced fatigue
Spacer mesh back pad
Additional pockets in DPM Cordura sewn to the sides, these are between the zips and side pockets may still be fitted as shown, these are bellows design using the side pouch clips as closures
Internal frame has been removed, lumbar pad compensates for this and helps maintain shape, fit over body armour is improved without the frame
Elastic in lid edge has been removed, this improves the fit over reduced loads or top flapped items
Waist belt has been cut off

125 litre capacity when complete with side pouches
Zipped top box pocket, internal lid pocket, and snow/sand hood for weather proof extension to main compartment
Padded and shaped shoulder straps with 2 way adjustment
EU made to MoD specification in DPM IRR materials by the MoD contractor
Condition is used, and obviously so, close to Grade Two condition, as may be expected from an SF item.
Clear signs of use and wear, marked from field use, all buckles, straps and zips are sound, fit for immediate real world use
Some wear damage to one bottom corner of the back, PU backing has given up inside the main body, most likely from exposure to jungle conditions, most of this been scrubbed off the inside, some remnants remain
Internal frame has been removed, Cordura sleeve cover for the frame pocket has been cut out, this does not affect, use and a frame may still be fitted if required (not included)
