US made, Exotac brand emergency candle.

Packaged in a reusable tin*.

Premium Beeswax with 3 wicks; these survival candles will burn hotter and longer than the average candle.

Wicks may be used singly or all together.

Slow burning model, approximately 30 hours burn time.

Approximate dimensions 7cm diameter, 4.5cm deep, weighs 140g

Although primarily intended as a light source candles can be extremely useful in survival kits.

A candle can be lit from a single match, burns longer and is more reliable than that match, making the candle a great aid in fire lighting.

Candles can also emit a surprising 100 watts of heat each.

Use as both light and heat source in improvised shelters, and under ‘space’ blankets. In Quinze snow shelters use a maximum of 2 per shelter, as too many candles will raise the temperate and melt the shelter.

As with all fire lighting kit and naked flames please take care when using this item, particular care should be exercised in shelters.
