Description
Classic Arktis chest rig in DPM
From a small custom run, we’ve only seen one other
Similar to the original ‘42 Commando’ model, but with the following design changes
Central magazine pouch has been omitted, vertical zip fitted for improved access to maps and documents in the internal pocket
Usual Velcro flap on upper edge is not present, as the central zip replaces this
2 x ammunition pouch, one either side of the centre zip, sized for up to 3x 30 round 5.56mm or 2x 20 round 7.62mm magazines in each
Each ammunition pouch features 3 internal lanyard anchor points, simple eyelet on strap length. Some individuals fitted lanyards or ‘leashes’ to their magazines to prevent loss
Arktis label under one pouch flap
2 x utility pouch, these easily accommodate the UK issue 2 pint bottle, slip pocket behind for documents or suitable radio
Internal lanyard point in pouch on left side as worn, large eyelet on short length of strap
Small pouch added to the outside of each utility pouch, Velcro flap closure with pull tab
All pouches have simple Velcro closures
Condition is used, faded with signs of use and wear, no damage or repairs, discreet previous user marks in ink on the underside of the ammunition pouch lids
