Description
Genuine UK Military issue pouch in MTP for the Bowman 354 section level radio
Part of the VIRTUS load bearing system
British Multi Terrain Pattern modular PALS pouch, modular pouch suitable for use with most MOLLE type modular systems. MOLLE fittings are the fold and tuck away type with Velcro tabs, not press studs.
Purpose designed for Dismounted Close Combat (DCC) radio carriage, these have limited alternative uses
Adjustable strap & buckle main closure
Second strap fits to the flat ring on the inside of the VIRTUS ‘Chassis’ MOLLE belt, this brings the pouch closer to the belt, reducing ‘tip’ away from the body caused by radio weight and improves stability and use comfort
Additional snow / sand lock fabric extension with draw cord, additional protection for the radio from weather and environmental factors
KDU pouch on each side, simple twin Velcro closure on each, fits around KDU cable
Elastic covered cable port on each side, above KDU pouch
Fold (almost) flat when empty design, drainage eyelet in base
1000 Denier Cordura type material with PU lining
MOLLE footprint is 3 wide by 6 high, including gaps
Example label reads: ‘354 Radio Pouch NSN 8465-31-016-0693 SSP/00001 YoM 2015’
