Bergen, PLCE Infantry, DPM, Short, Tailored, 426, Used

Description

Genuine British army PLCE issue MTP Infantry pattern Short Back bergen with modifications

Genuine UK Military standard issue short back bergen with the following tailored modifications, most likely by Dixies Corner

3x utility pouch with QR buckle and strap closures, these are PLCE issue utility pouches with back fittings removed, closures upgraded to surface mounted buckles

Good robust choice for a bergen, 1000D Corduar with PU lining & drainage eyelets, IRR, good colour match to the pack

Please note these pouches have been fitted over the ladder strapping, this strapping is no longer accessible

Improved shoulder straps, shaped and padded for superior comfort & stability for reduced fatigue, these are newer than the bergen

Lumbar back pad, one of the most comfortable bergens we’ve tried

Condition is used, and clearly so, various obvious signs of use and wear, previous user marks, including paint pen on lid and painted square on lumbar pad

Lid straps have been opended up at the ends and no longer have ‘stops ‘ stitched in, this may be easily rectified with tape. One side pouch zip is damaged, but works well enough with care, if you don’t often remove your side pouches this won’t matter, all other zips, clips & straps are sound

Bergen shown is the one you will receive

Colour shades may differ slightly between bergen and tailored pouches

Standard features

125 litre capacity when complete with side pouches (optional extra)

Internal aluminium frame, zipped top box pocket, internal lid pocket, and snow/sand hood for weather proof extension to main compartment

EU made to MoD specification in MTP IRR materials by the MoD contractor

Multiple views shown, single empty Bergen supplied. UK issue 2 pint water bottle for scale only, this is not included
