Vacuum sealed in foil type bag, if opened carefully packaging may be used as a water container or weather proof cover for small items

Simple 160 gauge Polythene bag for basic protection against the elements

Waterproof & windproof, non-breathable

NATO approved and issued to forward operating UK forces as ‘sleeping bag, ground forces ground bag’

Also suitable as a sleeping bag cover*, improvised shelter sheet, may be cut open to create a larger single layer sheet

May be employed as improvised water proof poncho type garment, if cut to allow wear*

Material suitable for improvised water collection, emergency buoyancy aid*

Alternative use as bag to carry or weatherproof equipment or foraged items

Could be used to apply the vapour / vapor barrier principle of insulation, be aware of moisture build up inside the bag

Add foraged or scavenged materials for additional insulation & comfort

Comparable to Polythene ‘exposure’ bags, but weighs less and packs smaller
